Matthew Moulton ChE’20 Awarded GEM Fellowship

Matthew Moulton ChE’20 has been awarded a GEM Fellowship to support his graduate studies in civil and environmental engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. As part of the fellowship, Moulton will spend this summer interning at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) where he will research sustainable aviation fuel production before beginning his Master of Science program. He will also receive one-to-one guidance and mentorship from a NREL scientist.
The GEM Fellowship was founded in 1976 by The National GEM Consortium to help support underrepresented groups (African Americans, American Indians, and Hispanic Americans) at the master’s and doctoral levels in engineering and science.
