Last night, civil engineering students Jenna Scott CE’21, Shirley Yan CE’23, Brighton Huynh CE’21, Mahmoud Khair-Eldin CE’21, Sanjeev Menon CE’20, Evan Straus CE’21, Joshua Kitagorsky CE’21, Adjunct Professor Joseph Viola, and Dean of Engineering Barry Shoop attended the 2020 American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Met Section Centennial Reception and Awards Presentation at the Museum of the City of New York.
The Cooper Student ASCE Chapter was awarded the Centennial Award. This award was given to Colleges and Universities, engineering firms, and contractors that are over 100 years old and have made significant contributions to the civil engineering profession and New York City.
