Housing affordability continues to be a significant challenge across the United States, deeply affecting countless individuals and families from all walks of life. The crisis stems from a myriad of factors, including, among other things, the widening gap between wages and housing costs, a tight housing supply, regulatory barriers, climbing interest rates, and soaring construction costs. Our upcoming panel discussion seeks to tackle these critical issues head-on, presenting insights and potential solutions from a diverse group of experts--including a real estate developer, a lawmaker and nonprofit activist, a professor, and a lender. This conversation will explore the key drivers behind the nation's affordable housing shortage and strategies to lessen their impact. By leveraging our panel's varied experiences, we aim to illuminate the primary challenges to affordable housing development and uncover effective solutions to overcome these obstacles, creating a pathway to more accessible housing for all.
The program will be presented virtually, please register here.
