Frankie Rodriguez A’99 Goes to Hollywood: The Advancement of Science and Art in Visual Effects

From Cooper Union to Industrial Light & Magic and Disney, visual effects animator Frankie Rodriguez, a 1999 School of Art alumnus, will discuss his meandering journey through various artistic roles that culminated in a career in visual effects. Hear how experiences in disparate disciplines, such as graphic design, drawing, 2D Animation, and computer science informed the development of major sequences in films such as Star Wars: Rogue One, Avengers: Infinity War, and Frozen 2.
