Sandra Blaylock Seifert A'56 a Texan by heart and a woman of strength and independent spirit, passed away on April 3rd, 2023, in her hometown of Chattanooga, TN. She was a grounded personality that made her loved and respected by all who knew her. Sandra was born in Amarillo, Texas, and moved to Chattanooga with her parents and sister, graduating from Chattanooga City High and then moving to New York City on a scholarship to attend the Cooper Union Institute of Art and Science. Sandra was a talented artist and graphic designer, who worked as the Art Director for the Herald Tribune and many popular Manhattan Magazines.
