DIVAS for Social Justice, The Center for NYC Neighborhoods, and The Cooper Union STEM Outreach present The Black Housing Project's "What Makes a House a Home?" exhibition. The multimedia youth-led project introduces youth to the history and process of homeownership. It was designed by recent School of Art graduate Wallace dos Santos A'22 and was inspired by the words and homes of 9-14 year-old students from four schools in Laurelton, Queens and East New York, Brooklyn who are participating in the Black Housing project.
