Workshop on Generative Art, Architecture, and Engineering
Saturday, April 20, 2024, 1 - 5pm
As part of a Generative Art, Architecture, and Engineering Collaboration workshop, leading practitioners in the field of generative art, design, and machine learning will present their work and engage in a discussion led by students. This extends a multi-year effort to explore generative algorithms and machine learning at The Cooper Union through a series of interdisciplinary seminars and studios, where students from the art, architecture, and engineering schools work together on group projects. Speakers include Luke Dubois, director, Integrated Design & Media, New York University, Aaron Hertzmann, principal scientist, Adobe Research, Golan Levin, professor of electronic art, Carnegie Mellon University, and artists Claire Hentschker, Kyle McDonald, and Subalehka Udayasankar.
Registration required. Please note this free in-person event is first-come-first-served, and an RSVP does not guarantee admission.
Located in the Frederick P. Rose Auditorium, at 41 Cooper Square (on Third Avenue between 6th and 7th Streets)
