The New York Times has given the exhibition Anything Can Substitute Art: Maciunas in SoHo a rave review in its Friday, January 18th, 2013 edition. Created in collaboration with The Jonas Mekas Visual Arts Center, in Vilnius, Lithuania and The School of Art, the exhibit, at 41 Cooper Square through February 2nd, focuses on rarely exhibited works by George Maciunas (A'52) and his colleagues in the Fluxus movement he founded. Holland Cotter calls the show "engrossing" and writes, "anyone who wants to get a sense of how art can be both activist and existentialist will find bracing information here." Read the full review.
