Carin Goldberg (A'75) was a force of nature. A native New Yorker through and through, she received her BFA from the Cooper Union School of Art in 1975. She passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023. Thomas H. Glasser ME'51
Thomas H. Glasser (ME'51) died peacefully in Saratoga Hospital on Saturday, January 21, 2023. The youngest of six children, Tom was born to Joseph and Elizabeth Glasser in February of 1927 in Hicksville, New York. He grew up in Brooklyn and attended St. Martin's Elementary School, Regis High School, and Cooper Union, where he received a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree in 1951.
Lila Sternglass A'54
STERNGLASS--Lila (Kronstadt) A'54, a life-long New Yorker who worked as an advertising art director from 1969-1995, passed away on January 15, 2023 of natural causes at the Cobble Hill Health Center, Brooklyn. She was 89. She was a pioneering woman in advertising, who worked with prominent designers like Seymour Chwast and Milton Glaser at Pushpin Studios and later as creative director at several Madison Avenue advertising agencies.
Harvey E. Kirstel AR'52
Harvey E. Kirstel AR'52, died at Charlestown Retirement Community in Catonsville,MD at the age of 90 after a year long illness. He is survived by his partner Jane Morais, his son Evan, daughter-in-law Irma, daughter Gillian Beckwith, son-in-law Kevin and grandchildren Hannah and Aidan Kirstel and Abby Beckwith, as well as, the Cummings and Abramson families.
