White Plains - Mathilda (Loebel) Maslow Goldenberg Abler A'42 of White Plains, NY, passed away peacefully at 101 on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at White Plains Hospital. Mattie was born in Brooklyn on March 7, 1920, the beloved daughter of Arthur and Harriett (Herrmann) Loebel.

Melvin Mathisen ME'53

Melvin Mathisen ME'53 died on January 1, 2023. He was born on September 10, 1928, in Brooklyn New York. Before his first birthday, he moved to Norway and was raised for the next nine years in the small farming town where his parents both grew up.

  • Peter Cooper wanted his graduates to acquire the technical mastery and entrepreneurial skills, enrich their intellects and spark their creativity, and develop a sense of social justice that would translate into action.
